Y-3’s brand new sport collection is undoubtedly one of the best drops to date from Yohji Yamamoto and adidas. And the highlight of the collection? Probably the Y-3 Sport Approach. Having gotten our first look at the design via the lookbook that hit the ‘net this morning, we now have a closer look at the high-top thanks to the Y-3 web store. Built atop the Ultra Boost’s tried-and-true sole unit (complete with Torsion tech for midfoot support), the design is equal parts EQT 3/3F15 and Tubular Doom, coupling a sleek upper of welded TPU and stretchy softshell overlays with a sock-like Primeknit bootie.
Available now from select retailers worldwide, the debut black colorway of the Approach can still be copped via the Y-3 web store for $435 USD while supplies last.
