When Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors rewrote history last week for the best record ever in a regular season by finishing 73-9, Stephen Curry was wearing a new pair of shoes for the special day.
He wasn’t wearing a new colorway of the Under Armour Curry 2, instead he rocked the all-new Under Armour Curry 2.5. The UA Curry 2.5 that he wore features a blue, yellow and white color scheme to go along with the Warriors uniforms. Last week we found out that the Curry 2.5 will be arriving at retailers in limited quantities on May 28th which will be followed by a wider release on July 1st. Today we give you a detailed look at the same exact colorway that was worn by Curry last week which many people have been calling the 73-9 colorway. At the moment there is no scheduled release date but we’ll keep you updated here at Kicks On Fire.
I wish Under Armour would have done something a little more fancy with this colorway of the Curry 2.5, but the fact that it’s the same pair that Steph wore to break the record is a good enough reason to cop. These should sell out almost instantly because they’re a big part of NBA and sneaker history.
