adidas Originals only recently unveiled the next iteration of the tremendously popular NMD silhouette in the form of the XR1 caged version, seen here in white. Now, we have a sneak peek at another “Olive” colorway slated for the new sneaker, which outfits the entire knit upper in a dark military olive hue. The most striking addition to the silhouette is, of course, the tonal lace cage with a mesh center. The NMD’s distinctive Boost sole blocks have also been redesigned so that the forefoot block is all but unnoticeable, being colored white and sitting flush against the sole. Tentatively dropping sometime this year, stay tuned for more on this heir to adidas’ premier lifestyle model.
