There are many ways that a shoe can manage to stand out. Two of the most common ways it manages to do so is by the choice of color and materials used on the shoe. One look at the New Balance 1300 Beige and it’s easy to see that the colors used on the shoe are not the reason why the shoe is so great. In this case, it’s the materials that are the center of attention.
Constructed out of premium leather and mesh, the majority of the shoe comes dressed in a Beige colorway. The tonal look of the shoe is offset by the hits of Black placed on the branding, inner liner, heel tab, heel counter, and outsole. Adding a bit of a bold hit to the shoe is the red noted on the New Balance branding on the heel tab, tongue and heel counter. These may not get as much attention as a volt colored shoe, but there’s no doubt that quality and premium will be on your feet. Out now, pick up a pair for $200.

Author’s Take
Beige may be considered ‘boring’ to some, but if done right it can look real good on a shoe. In this case, the all-beige look looks pretty clean on the upper. I can dig it. That price tag though….I’d rather wait till it drops to around $130.
