It’s been 30 years since Nike first introduced us to the Air Max 95, a silhouette that has cemented itself in sneaker history as an icon. To celebrate this milestone, the Swoosh has prepared many exciting projects involving the sneaker. Not only is UNDEFEATED rumored to have five colorways on the way, A Ma Maniére and Corteiz are due to drop their latest takes on the model later this season.
Adding to the festivities, Nike is turning back time and revisiting the “Big Bubble” tooling of its original look — an approach the brand previously took with the Air Max 1 in 2023. Presented here in “Triple Black,” the shoe is absent of color, save for a blue tint present at the enlarged Air windows, highlighting its adjusted build that sees the Air bubbles bursting out of the shoe’s standard shape.
At the time of writing, Nike has not yet confirmed when its big bubble version of the Air Max 95 will be returning. Look out for this “Triple Black” colorway to launch later this year via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $175 USD and stay tuned for more updates regarding this throwback take on the model.
