The Nike Air Max 2009 was recently offered in a stealth colorway this past March 2016, and although the sneaker is not as popular as its predecessors and successors, the runner is revived in another colorway for Spring/Summer 2016 once again.
Flaunting a volt-colored breathable mesh composition, the component is reinforced with a translucent overlay across the upper, which displays a graphic of the sneaker’s lacing system across the side panels. Additional hits of volt are applied on the laces, tongue, inner lining and insoles, while shades of grey along the eyelets, quarter panels, rear and toe cap solidifies the palette.
Other notable details include leather overlays along the toe and heel section for additional reinforcement, while the recognizable Swooshes adorn the sides in shades of black and silver. Furthermore, a black/white piping is evident above the midsole for more structural support, as additional branding is prominent on the tongue and rear section.
All adhered atop a full-length air-enhanced sole unit for superb cushioning and comfort, you can purchase this pair at select Nike retailers nationwide now for $180.
I actually wasn’t into this silhouette before, but since I’m all for runners currently, the style is pretty appealing. This colorway looks great and perfect for the season.
