Check Out the Special Nike and Jordan Issue of ‘Hypebeast Magazine’

Hypebeast Magazine has debuted a special 64-page issue in celebration of Nike and Jordan Brand. The issue spotlights both brands’ foremost creative partners and some of the most iconic sneakers (both new and old) in their oeuvre.

Cover star Jackson Wang is one of Nike and Jordan Brand’s newest global ambassadors, and through an expansive interview he discusses his relentless “Team Wang” mindset, his embrace of failure — and his belief that it only leads to even greater success — and what it means to rep the Swoosh and the Jumpman. Other interviews celebrate some of the brands’ most storied collaborative partners, namely the “godfather of streetwear,” fragment design founder Hiroshi Fujiwara, and the leading lady of AMBUSH, Yoon Ahn, each of who have left an indelible mark on Nike’s collaborative lexicon.

Other content includes a commemoration of the Air Jordan 1‘s 50th anniversary, told through its 50 greatest moments from the origin of the infamous “Banned” story to Michael Jordan lacing up a pair for his final game in Madison Square Garden as a member of the Chicago Bulls and a photo editorial that highlights some of Nike’s latest lifestyle apparel innovations. There’s also a detailed breakdown of three boundary-pushing Air models: the Air Max DN8, Air Max Muse and Air Superfly.

The special edition is available for pre-order now via HBX, and is priced at $15 USD.
