COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS Revives the Nike Air Max Dolce

Summary

  • COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS’ biannual Nike footwear collaboration sees the Air Max Dolce make a return
  • Its molded sidewalls are back, however, adjustments to the 2002 model include a new glossy overlay and covered Air units
  • Release is set to take place during Spring/Summer 2026

COMME des GARÇONS has become known for presenting a wide variety of footwear collaborations via its many different lines at Paris Fashion Week. For COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS, it continues to team up with Nike, often bringing back archival models. The two most recently dropped the Sense 96, combining the Air Max 96 and ISPA Sense Flyknit, and are planning to drop its own take on the Air Rejuven8 later this year.

Adding to the list of Nike collaborations to look forward to, CdGH+ has just previewed a revival of the Air Max Dolce. The 2002 runner has been reinterpreted by the brand, replacing the grid-like webbing that covers the tongue with a glossy overlay. CdGH+ has maintained the silhouette’s molded sidewalls, however, the heel’s Air unit has been covered, further differentiating its presentation. Per usual, the duo have stuck to monochromatic looks of all-black, black and white, and all-white, with a CdGH+ nod at the tongue and co-branding found at the sockliner.

At the time of writing, neither COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS nor Nike have indicated when their collaborative take on the Air Max Dolce will be landing on shelves. Stay tuned for updates, including a complete look at all three colorways, as we expect the sneaker to arrive during the first half of 2026 via Dover Street Market and select retailers worldwide.
