The Air Jordan 8 is currently celebrating its 23rd anniversary, but we haven’t seen any colorways release almost 5 months into the year. That’s all about to change next month when we see the release of the Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack.
Consisting of two colorway of the Air Jordan 8, this third Championship Pack from Jordan Brand celebrates Michael Jordan’s 3rd NBA Championship and the completion of his first threepeat. The first colorway features an all-white upper and takes inspiration from the Larry O’Brien trophy as we see gold hits land on the strap and by the midsole which also has fingerprints on it reminiscent of the prints that are left on a trophy when you touch it. The second pair comes in all-black and features a premium tumbled leather upper with patent leather detailing on the heel, ankle and eyestay. This pair is highlighted by the confetti graphics that have been placed by the midsole, on the inner bootie and on the outsole.
Both pairs from the celebratory pack are scheduled to release on June 25th for $250 each. Head over to our Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack to see more images, release information and other updates on this release.

Author’s Take
Even though I’m not a fan of the Air Jordan 8, I think Jordan Brand did a decent job with this Championship Pack. The $250 price tag just too much though.
