Eight years ago, on March 24, 2017, Devin Booker made NBA history by becoming the youngest player to ever score 70 points in one game. In the match-up against Boston Celtics, Book, who was 20 years old at he time, wore a pair of the black and orange Nike Hyperdunk Low (2016). Paying homage to the 70-point game, Booker revealed a Nike Book 1 PE in honor of his milestone.
Taking inspiration from the Hyperdunk, the PE features a sleek black leather upper that has vibrant orange Swoosh on the midsole. The heel pull tab includes a subtle “70” label and the date of his historic feat. The tongue also features Book’s own PE logo in purple as well as additional personal touches throughout the shoe. The shoe sits atop a black midsole and an icy translucent outsole to round out the design.
At this time the pair will not be releasing to the general public.
