London’s Maharishi label has teamed up with adidas to drop this special iteration of the adidas Handball Spezial. Not familiar with the model? The adidas Handball Spezial made its debut back in the late ’70s when it was made and designed for handball players. Over the years the model has become less of a performance model, and more of a lifestyle offering.
Done in a Core Black, Carbon and Gum colorway, the Maharishi x adidas Handball Spezial is given a Black suede upper that is then placed atop a soft gum rubber outsole that pays homage to the model’s vintage heritage. Other design features include a comfy textile lining, camo-print Three Stripes on the side panels, Gold foil Maharishi branding alongside the Three Stripes, a leather heel tab housing debossed adidas branding and even more Black leather on the lining.
The Maharishi x adidas Handball Spezial Core Black Gum has no official release date yet, but current reports have these making their debut sometime during the month of October. Stay tuned for an official release date.
