Hidden NY and Asics are back. After their first official collaboration with the Japanese brand landed this Spring, the two have been quietly at work on their follow-up; the GEL-Venture 6 Shield, which makes its debut this weekend at ComplexCon.
Hidden NY has grown into far more than just an Instagram-based moodboard over the last few years. They have evolved into their own brand, offering cut-and-sew apparel and accessories as well as home goods, and most recently: sneakers. Sneakers have always been an essential part of the moodboard page, and Asics gave them their first official collab that released back in April of this year. Now, they are ready to unveil the follow-up.
Hidden announced via their IG today some details surrounding the next Asics project, as well as a small teaser image of the new pair. The collaboration features the GEL-Venture 6 Shield, a trail runner built for water resistance and all kinds of rugged terrain. Sticking to their tried and true formula, the shoe has a mostly white build with grey and silver accents and flashes of Wasabi green.

Details about the release of Hidden NY’s Asics GEL-Venture 6 Shield are sparse, but the brand has stated the shoe will debut this week at ComplexCon in Las Vegas. The white & wasabi green color scheme is expected to have an online release sometime in the future, though an exact date and price tag are still TBA.

UPDATE 11/20/24: After its debut this weekend, the Hidden x Asics GEL-Venture 6 Shield will get a wider release this week. Pairs of the rugged runner will be available from the brand’s website for $150.
