There’s no denying that adidas‘ NMD has made a serious mark within the sneaker game since its inception. Whether you’re a diehard fan looking at copping every iteration, or someone who’s trying their best at turning a blind eye (which, if you’re reading this post, you’ve failed), the clean silhouette will continue to see new versions of itself for the time being. Case in point is this recently surfaced version of the NMD R1, which comes sporting a milky white makeup, keeping to the more monochromatic and minimalistic approach the shoe has been so synonymous with. What helps this design stand out, albeit subtly, is the light blue EVA back plugs found at the Boost midsole. In addition, black is used for the outersole and heel tab that runs beneath the logo-stamped heel counter, down to the sole, and supports the brand’s bilingual text that we’ve seen before on the NMD. With all that said, there’s still speculation on how real this drop is or where and when it’ll be available, so be sure to check back in for an update.
