Following a premium take by Taka Hayashi, the classic Vans Sk8-Hi is treated in a new finish for Spring 2016, this time flaunting a tonal hue of ivory green.
The defining shade essentially covers the model’s mixed material upper, consisting of smooth suede across its toe box, eye stays, tongue and heel, while the majority of the composition is composed of durable canvas, followed by premium leather utilized for its distinctive formstripes across the side panels.
Finished off with matching laces and a full-length rubber sole unit, you can purchase this pair at select Vans retailers now for $80.
I’m a fan of the silhouette and I like it a lot in tonal iterations. I’m pretty biased towards this colorway as well, but overall, this should get some attention.
