KoF Live: Unboxing The Under Armour Curry 2.5 Black Taxi Special Edition Package (Video)

As Game 7 looms, both Stephen Curry and Under Armour look to perform on arguably their biggest stage yet (sorry, Cleveland). With everything on the line, the lights will shine bright on Steph’s signature kicks, the Under Armour Curry Two or his playoff-made Under Armour Curry 2.5. Ahead of the big game, UA dropped by the KoF Offices (aka my house) to deliver to us this special edition package commemorating the launch of the 2.5 in the Black Taxi colorway.

Weighing in at a whopping 16 pounds, the special box includes not only the kicks, but special Curry-branded UA gear. If you were watching me open this box up live on Facebook this past Friday, I had to do the unboxing under duress (I only had a few minutes to spare because I had to pick some family members from LAX and I decided to not use a cutter to unbox the package, not to mention the house WiFi decided to act weird at that very moment), but what matters is that plenty of people got to see the shoe in all its glory. Will it be a street-ready classic? I doubt it, but as an on-court performer, it will be interesting to see if the Curry fans (and there are lots of them) will flock to this model like they did the Curry Two.
