Just in case some of you haven’t heard by now, my hometown, the city of Los Angeles is also getting their own colorway on this year’s Air Jordan 10 City Pack. Let’a get a closer look so we have a better idea of what to expect once these drop in the near future.
Coming in an tonal offering, the shoe has an upper done up in three shades of blue consisting of Ocean Fog, Blue Lagoon and Midnight Navy. Said to be inspired by the state of California, we’re still waiting on why Jordan Brand opted to go with all these blue tones on the upper. Th blue heavy upper sits on top of a all-white midsole to create some sharp contrast. Notable features on the shoe include the ‘LA’ embroidering on the collar and the Blue Lagoon found on the guts. Dropping May 14th for $190 at select Jordan Brand retailers, let us know how many of you plan on picking up a pair. Be sure to visit our Air Jordan 10 Los Angeles hub page, where you will be able to find all the latest news and images regarding this release.

As an Los Angeles native, I tried really hard to like this colorway, but I just don’t. Too many shades of blue, and to make matters worse I’m not a huge fan of the 10s. Jordan Brand definitely has the ability to do better.
