As part of the New Balance Explore By Air collection, the 998 comes constructed out of a smooth pig suede and mesh material. The shoe is done right, and the color scheme is alright. While I am a fan of this particular model, I’m just not crazy over the colors used on the shoe. They’re cool, but they’re just not for me.
