After surfacing way back in September of last year, N.HOOLYWOOD’s take on the Vans Authentic has finally arrived. Crafted with the help of calligrapher MIKITYPE and originally shown off on the runway as Daisuke Obana’s imprint hit New York Fashion Week, the Spring/Summer 2016 release takes cues from an old children’s nursery rhyme and sports Gothic text on the sock liner and laces, as well as around the rubber foxing. As far as construction goes, premium white leather and light grey suede make for a clean look for the warmer months ahead.
Retailing for ¥16,000 JPY (approximately $145 USD), the kicks are set to hit N.HOOLYWOOD flagships this Saturday, May 21 alongside a special edition tee.
