Spring is in full swing and to usher in the changing of the seasons, New Balance has teased three new iterations to its 860v2 runner. The shoe is currently riding a wave of popularity, thanks in due part to a suite of collaborations, including a partnership with Korean label thisisneverthat and a vibrant pack with Aimé Leon Dore.
Paring things back, the latest three colors to join the lineup opt to keep the metallic silver accents of the silhouette with a subtle hit of spring green, slate blue and rose blush. Having debuted back in 2011, the 860v2 has become a go-to alternative for those looking for the slender fit of New Balance’s 1906R and 2002R. Constructed with ACTEVA LITE cushioning atop an ABZORB sole, the forthcoming 860v2’s boast white mesh that constitute most of the shoe’s upper, while metallic and colored accents complete the branding throughout the sneaker.
New Balance has not officially named the latest three 860v2s, but expect the shoes to drop in June 2024 for $140 USD each. Alternatively, for those looking for a clashing color palette, the Boston-based label teamed up with Action Bronson for a “Rosewater” 1906R which will drop on May 31.
