Thanks to its Tokyo Design Studio, the 2016 has been one of New Balance’s most popular silhouettes over the past year. After debuting in black and grey back in the latter part of 2015, the kicks quickly returned with a premium “Buffed Brown” makeover. Now the 2016 is back in a brand new black colorway — one that may represent the silhouette’s best drop to date. Opting for a luxurious combination of black leather and matching suede, the Japanese-designed NBs see a black rubber outsole and brown lining as a grey ABZORB midsole provides the cushioning — and some contrast to the exterior.
New Balance fans can find the sneakers now from the likes of HAVEN for about $184 USD.
