As high-powered collaborations and exciting bring-backs make headlines in the sneaker space each week, true newness can feel elusive. However, it’s in these moments of innovation and discovery that the industry moves forward, ultimately shaping the next generation of classics.
In the spirit of newness and innovation, we’ve put together a list of 10 new models from 10 different brands — informed by our official brand rankings tracker. For those who caught our 25 Sneaker Releases to Look Forward to in 2025 feature, this list offers not only more accessible options, but a wider variety of brands involved now that we’re further into the new year.

Nike A’One
Hot off of earning her third WNBA MVP, A’ja Wilson is gearing up to debut her first signature shoe — the Nike A’One. Not only has the basketball sneaker scene been thriving recently, but the WNBA has also, making this new chapter’s timing great for both Wilson and the Swoosh. Since she and fellow Nike athlete Caitlin Clark — who has her own shoe in the works — are not participating in Unrivaled, we’ve yet to see the A’One on the court, however, Wilson has proudly worn the shoe casually since its unveiling in early February. While we’re eager to see how it performs, its sleek, layered upper will host plenty of strong colorways as we continue to monitor its rollout this year.
New Balance 2000
New Balance’s retro runners are why the brand has had such a strong resurgence in the past decade. While the American sportswear label keeps a diverse range of throwback looks in rotation, we’re seeing it step in a direction with the introduction of the New Balance 2000 — a contemporary build that features a sleek upper paired with a segmented sole unit. It’ll be interesting to see how sneakerheads respond to this new shift from the brand. However, New Balance has demonstrated time and again that it is able to assemble high-impact campaigns to bring energy to its new and returning models via tasteful color compositions and exciting partnerships.
Pharrell x adidas Jellyfish
Pharrell and adidas have worked together closely for over a decade now, however, the duo’s output slowed down in the wake of Skateboard P’s appointment as the creative director of Louis Vuitton Men’s. Things have ramped up again this year with Pharrell teasing his various takes on retro versions of the Superstar and the new Jellyfish silhouette. While little information about the Jellyfish has been shared so far, its bold structure speaks for itself — its bulky shape is joined by wavy overlays that add depth, giving the shoe an alien feel to it. Meanwhile, its initial orange, black and white look serves up a burst of contrast. Its rumored $280 USD price point indicates that the design will serve as one of adidas’ pinnacle products.
Converse SHAI 001
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has gone from being included in a nine-part trade package for Paul George to the NBA’s MVP frontrunner in under six years. He’s also been lauded as one of — if not the most — stylish players in the league. This promising trajectory has landed him as the face of Converse Basketball, with the division’s new Instagram account basically serving as a fan page dedicated to the superstar. It’s clear that the brand is betting big on SGA as he’s not only the centerpiece of their hoops campaign, but their first basketball athlete to receive their own Converse model since Dwayne Wade did in the mid 2000s. The two unveiled the Converse SHAI 001 earlier this month and SGA’s already proven that it can shine on and off the court. Its puffed upper features a zipper shroud that covers the lacing system, offering a distinct look that both sneakerheads and hoopers alike are eager to give a try. Given that SGA and the Oklahoma City Thunder are NBA title contenders again, there should be plenty of opportunities for him to lace (and zip) up new colorways of the SHAI 001 for us to anticipate this fall.
ASICS GEL-KINETIC FLUENT
ASICS is always evolving, building atop existing silhouettes to craft new, refined experiences. It delivered the forward-thinking GEL-QUANTUM KINETIC at the end of 2023 and kicked off this year by building atop it with the GEL-KINETIC FLUENT, which also draws influence from early 2010s models in both the GEL-KINETIC and GEL-FLUENT. The resulting sneaker fits neatly into ASICS’ rotation of contemporary runners while offering elements like FF BLAST PLUS ECO cushioning for a premium fit. Collaborators have already gotten their hands on the new silhouette as Lapstone & Hammer’s two colorways are kicking off March’s release calendar.
On Cloudzone
On continues to break new ground in the sneaker scene as its strategic partnerships have paired it up with the likes of LOEWE, POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) and, most recently, Kith. What makes these projects particularly dynamic is the introduction of new models through each. In the case of Ronnie Fieg’s Kith, the brand brought forth the On Cloudzone as part of its debut K-Tech campaign. While its slender shape is familiar to followers of On, it delivers a new segmented sole unit backed by On’s popular CloudTec cushioning. The sneaker also features a new logo that offers a fresh feel for the brand, further building its new momentum as a legitimate force within the fashion industry.
Salehe Bembury x PUMA
Salehe Bembury’s collaborative conquest through the sneaker industry continues this year as he’s taken on a new role at PUMA in shaping the next generation of PUMA Hoops. While we lack an announcement of their debut model together, the designer shared two lone images of a Bembury-branded PUMA shoe in January as he gears up to make waves for the brand throughout 2025. Given PUMA Hoops’ knack for vibrant looks such as LaMelo Ball’s always-colorful signature shoes and collaborations with brands like Cheetos, Bembury’s lively compositions are sure to be a great fit. With his proven track record in the industry, his fingerprint may be tangible throughout all of PUMA Hoops’ works in the coming years.
Salomon Genesis Advanced
Salomon Advanced is responsible for many of Salomon’s cutting-edge designs. Its forward-thinking approach has created a mix of revamped and brand new silhouettes. One of its latest breakthroughs is the Genesis Advanced, a reimagining of the Genesis line that began with the S/LAB Genesis and later ended up as a mainline offering in 2024. While the rugged terrain-ready sneaker could handle the elements, it struggled to find its footing with fashion-oriented consumers. The Genesis Advanced addresses this by maintaining a technical build with elements like a Matryx fabric upper that is woven with Kevlar fibers while offering a more palatable structure and curated colorways.
ANTA KAI 2
Kyrie Irving has taken ANTA to the next level in the past year. The introduction of his ANTA KAI 1 and the subsequent lifestyle models he put together with the brand brought the Chinese sportswear label to a new audience, resulting in a significant increase in the brand’s availability in the West. As he continues to push things forward, the KAI 2 has arrived as a daring new entry in the rich signature shoe scene. The new silhouette serves a unique proposition with its detailed design looking like something you might find on a runway at Paris Fashion Week. It again nods to Irving’s artistry — something he wields both on and off the court — as its upper sports various new motifs, including a special take on the ANTA logo at the lateral midfoot. Its lead “Artist on Court” look is one of many unique renditions of the shoe to come as Irving and ANTA remain steadfast in creating shoes in their own way.
norda 005
When norda debuted in the trail running scene at the end of 2021, it didn’t hesitate to assert its 001 sneaker as the premier option within the space. Fast forward to today and it’s gearing up to drop the “ultimate trail running super shoe” with the 005. The upcoming model already has some achievements under its belt, including Jason Schlarb placing third in the Hardrock 100 — a 100-mile “ultramarathon” event — while wearing the shoe. The new tool enters the norda arsenal with an ultra-lightweight build that clocks in at a mere 211g for a men’s size 8.5. Not only can it thank its bio-based Dyneema blend upper for accomplishing this, but the new midsole supports this as the first to use 100% Arnitel — a thermoplastic copolyester elastomer material — throughout its structure. This no-corners-cut build is a resilient one and was noted previously by norda co-founder Nick Martire as lasting five to 10 times longer than other “super foams” — emphasizing the brand’s commitment to sustainability through the lens of not only bio-based materials, but long-lasting products as well.
