The current lineup of Nike’s ACG sneakers is comprised of a heavy dose of their archival silhouettes. The outdoor label has leaned heavily on their ’90s catalog in recent years, and this Fall, another model is returning; the moccasin-inspired Izy. This week brings an official look at the Black/Limestone pair, coming later 2024.
Nike’s ACG archives are the stuff of GORPcore legends, plastered across moodboards and thrifted pairs popping up with hefty resale price tags over twenty years after their original release. The ACG team has leaned into this heavily over the last few years; after Errolson Hugh parted ways as creative director, roughly half of their releases feature retro product. The past few seasons have seen the revival of a number of late ’90s trail and camp shoes, and this year, the Izy joins the list as its latest member.
Nike ACG’s Izy initially released in 1999. Built for the outdoors, the shoe pairs a heavy duty moccasin-inspired upper with a durable and thick midsole suitable for trails or an uneven campground. Constructed from suede with a zippered shroud for easy entry, the model’s initial 2024 release has surfaced this week. The pair features a near-total black color palette, adding Limestone brown for the outsoles and contrast stitching.

Nike ACG’s latest ’90s retro to make a comeback has not been announced for release yet, but is expected to arrive sometime late in 2024. The moccasin-style model will make its debut in a simple black suede with limestone accents, releasing from both Nike and select retailers for an expected $130.
