During this year’s SNKRS Showcase livestream, Nike unveiled a new retro Air Max release; the TL 2.5. The 2006 model returns this holiday season, with more colors like this “Obsidian” blue pair expected for Spring 2025.
Nike has been delivering us some excellent retro releases over the past two years, which have largely been teased months in advance via their SNKRS Showcase events. The first one was held last Fall, followed by another preview event this Spring, both showing off exciting upcoming releases for the next year. We’ve seen some of the older retro models from the 2024 livestream release already, but are still waiting on the arrival of the Air Max TL 2.5.
The first release of Nike’s retro TL 2.5 styles came back in September, courtesy of CdG Homme. This will be followed by releases of the shoe’s OG color scheme later this year, with new styles being added in Spring 2025. This week, we have our first look at one of the new pairs, which pits the shoe in a plain white upper with shades of University Blue, Obsidian navy, and Hyper Royal to complete the look.
NIKE AIR MAX TL 2.5 “OBSIDIAN” RELEASE INFORMATION
Nike’s releases of their Air Max TL 2.5 retro do not have any set dates yet, and this pair is not expected to arrive until sometime in Spring 2025. The white & blue style will be available from both Nike and select retailers like size? for an expected $180.
