Nike is joining three of their most iconic sneakers for a new collection in 2025. Dubbed the “Sea Glass” pack, the Air Force, Dunk Low, and Cortez, are united by an abstract plastic cage running around the outside of each shoe.
Nike has a handful of silhouettes that dominate their release calendars year after year. The brand’s staples are all sneakers that were introduced in the Swoosh’s early days, and have stuck around for decades after due to their timeless style and evolving technology, making them always suitable for casual wear. The Air Force 1, Dunk Low, and Cortez are just three of these classics, and all of them are joining forces for a new pack in 2025.
The “Sea Glass” pack is a pretty wild new idea from Nike. Each pair features a molded plastic cage in a transparent, off-white shade, like glass thats been drifting through the waves for years. The Dunk and Air Force are the most intricate of the three, though their cages seem removable as several screws attached to the soles and uppers appear to hold them in place. The Cortez is much more minimal, adding the cage only around the Swooshes on either side.
