A new sneaker rumor is swirling around town and it seems that the Nike Kobe 3 Protro “Christmas” colorway is dropping this holiday season. The updated version is a contemporary take on the iconic silhouette which first debuted in 2007. When it was first released, some fans were not completely sold on the shoe, due to its lattice upper and grid-like design. The late-Kobe Bryant famously wore the pair during the 2007 Christmas Day game against the Phoenix Suns. Now almost two decades later, the Kobe 3 is rumored to return. The shoe is slated to drop in a royal pulse, chrome and white color palette that hits the diamond grid patterns. Modern innovation gives the shoe more breathability and tailored to performance as the Swoosh is highlighted in chrome for an added touch. The shoe receives a major update as it sits atop a full-length Zoom Strobel cushioning for more responsiveness and comfort. Take a look at the mock-up above provided by Sneaker Files.
