One of the most influential shoes of all time will return in 2016 after a five year drought – the Nike Lava Dome.
The Nike Lava Dome first hit the trails in 1982 – years before Nike formed ACG. Prior to the Lava Dome, options were rather limited for shoes to wear outdoors with mostly heavy, lugged boots. The Lava Dome brought to consumers a lightweight, lower profile option that would lend itself to being a much more versatile option.
