Will Nike continue to create and release Nike Kobe sneakers even after Kobe Bryant retires? I know that’s one big question that lots of you have been asking yourselves, because we have too. Today Nike PR Director Heidi Burgett put those questions to rest as she took to her Twitter to give us some much appreciated information.
There’s no end in sight to Nike’s relationship with @KobeBryant as a collaborator, an innovator and one of basketball’s cultural icons.

Kobe's shoes will continue to grace basketball courts worldwide – some new, some retro & some classics remastered w/ the latest innovations.

So there you have it. Kobe will continue to work with Nike even after his retirement as a “collaborator, innovator, and cultural icon.” According to Heidi we’ll be seeing new Kobes (presumably Kobe 12, 13, 14, etc.), retros, and remastered classics with modern upgrades.
Are you excited to hear that the Nike Kobe line will continue even after the Black Mamba calls is quits?
