Nike’s annual Air Max Day holiday is just around the corner, coming up in March. This year, the Swoosh is expected to debut the DN8, an evolution of ’24’s DN model. This week, the DN8 has surfaced in a “Bred” look, coming next year.
Back in March, the Swoosh releases the Air Max DN, a brand new model with a new take on their iconic Air cushioning system. The model used individual tubes with different air pressures in the sole to create a dynamic and responsive feel, and they are building on the new technology next year with the DN8. The model doubles the amount of Dynamic tubes, adding four more to the forefoot.
The DN8 is currently expected to arrive for 2025’s Air Max Day celebration, though this has yet to be confirmed by Nike. This week, a second color of the shoe surfaced online in official images, giving us a better look from the on-foot photos we saw last month. The model’s upper is a seamless design, using taped seams to hold everything together, as well as form-fitting textiles for the tongues and inner linings.
