Update: The new partnership between NIGO and Nike is set to see another launch arrive sooner than anticipated. The duo’s take on the Air Force 3 returns in a “Baroque Brown” that we last previewed in early November. Nike has just unveiled the pair’s official imagery, highlighting its corduroy collar, co-branding, horse hair underlays and special packaging that we described initially below. Release is now set to take place on December 19 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $160 USD.
Original Story: One of the biggest headlines of 2023 was word of NIGO teaming up with Nike. The legendary Japanese designer had drawn plenty of inspiration from the Swoosh over the years, however, his official collaborations often looked to its Three Stripes counterpart instead. This new chapter between NIGO and Nike finally began this season and looks to be continuing in 2025 with additional co-designed colorways of the Air Force 3.
Our latest preview of a NIGO x Nike Air Force 3 sees the sneaker outfitted in a new “Baroque Brown” look, not to be confused with the “Light British Tan” pair that popped up in September. This similar design sees brown horse hair at the base accompanied by a darker brown at the corduroy collar and a chocolate brown at the branded overlays. A “Fir” green hits the Swooshes, midsole and lining as off-white strikes the midsole’s remainder and the heel branding.
At the time of writing, neither NIGO nor Nike have indicated when this “Baroque Brown” iteration of the Air Force 3 will be dropping. Stay tuned for updates, including official imagery of the kicks, as we currently expect the pair to drop during the spring of 2025 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $160 USD.
