Another colorway of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 is on the way, and this one is actually dropping in less than one week! Today we get a good look at the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Varsity Royal via Nike’s official images.
The Griffey Max 1 comes dressed in a Varsity Royal upper sharply contrasted by the White accents placed throughout the shoe. Giving the shoe some additional bold hits are the Volt accents placed on the Air Max unit and Nike Swoosh branding. Hits of Black take care of the remaining branding hits, as well as the outsole of the shoe. Although they can already be found at select retailers, Nike will officially release them via they’re SNKRS app on May 24th at 10 a.m. EST for $150.

I prefer the Fresh Water colorway over this one, only because it reminds me of Griffey’s time with the Seattle Mariners.
