In honor of the D.C., Maryland and Virginia region, Nike is dropping a Air More Foamposite One “DMV” later this year. The special edition shoe is a nod to the area’s culture and heritage, offering locals a distinctive iteration to celebrate where they come from.
The shoe takes on a rose gold hue and features the signature embroidered Swoosh as well as Penny’s “1 Cent” logo. A nod to the area, “DMV” is highlighted on the heel pull tabs while the insoles feature a cherry blossom graphic to commemorate some of the most beautiful moments in that area. Black suede hits certain parts of the shoe to match with the black laces and inner lining. The shoe sits atop a semi-translucent outsole to round out the design.
Look out for the Nike Air More Foamposite One “DMV” arriving in select retailers in the area and online at Nike for $240 USD later this summer.
