Three-time WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson is finally dropping her first signature shoe with Nike Basketball this year. We initially previewed the sneaker in its lead “Pink A’ura” colorway at the beginning of February, when the shoe was officially unveiled.
Following the reveal of a “Black/Hyper Pink” pair, as well as a special “Black Label” PE for Dawn Staley, Nike has presented its official images of the “Pink A’ura” version of the shoe. Its layered build sees various pink tones present throughout the upper as nods to Wilson come courtesy of her logo at the tongue and sockliner, as well as the heel’s “A’ja” signature detail. Inspirational text is engraved at the heel, reading “WEAKNESS? WEAKNESS? WE DON’T GOT TIME FOR THAT!!!”. The outsole also has its own quote — “AS A MATTER OF A FACT, THE BEST IS YET TO COME.” Completing the presentation is a new co-branded shoe box.
For those looking to pick up the Nike A’One in its debut “Pink A’ura” look, it is set to drop on May 8 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $110 USD.
