Later this year we will see the return of one of the most beloved sneakers of the 90’s, the Nike Zoom Flight 96.
Known as one of Penny Hardaway’s signature sneakers, the Nike Zoom Flight 96 made its debut in (you guessed it) 1996 during the Summer Olympic Games that took place in Atlanta, Georgia. This Olympic colorway features a White upper with blue detailing on the heel, ankle, and midsole. The number 6 that Penny wore during the 1996 Olympics is also included on the heel.
This news follows the announcement that the Olympic colorway of the Nike Air More Uptempo will also be returning this Summer. Both silhouettes are currently celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2016.

Not really a fan of the silhouette but I’m sure that people who rocked this sneaker back in the day are jumping for joy hearing this news.
