Following its official reveal, a closer look at the upcoming Sneaker Politics x Reebok NPC UK CNL Storyville is showcased, as it’s set to make its debut this weekend.
Just to recap, the sneaker’s distinct aesthetic is inspired by the red-light district of New Orleans, Louisiana from 1897 to 1917. Storyville was established by municipal ordinance under the New Orleans City Council, to regulate prostitution and drugs during that timespan.
Essentially utilizing the location’s classic interior design elements, the upper is comprised of red quilted leather, alongside red paisley pattern on the insoles.
Finished off with a classic gum outsole and glossy black eyelets, you can find this pair at select Reebok accounts globally on Saturday, May 21st for $110.

Author’s Take
I’m a fan of the silhouette’s profile and the execution was nicely done. The defining colorway and gum sole unit works together very well, and the inspiration is a cool homage.
