Following on from April’s earthy makeovers, the FENTY x PUMA Creeper Phatty has returned in all-new colors — just before the first school bells begin to ring next month. Titled “In Session,” this latest drop sees the model’s signature oversized construction and stacked gum sole dressed in new “Triple Black” and “Red/White” corduroy finishes.
Rihanna, the collaboration’s longtime creative director, is marking the occasion with a campaign inspired by school picture day. Shot by Philippa Price, the sartorial delivery sees Rih posing as “the good gal” alongside classmate Chloe Cherry, or “the emo girl,” and Anjelica Huston, or “the principal.” Filled with nostalgia, the stereotypical cast also includes “theater kids,” “popular girls,” “nerds” and “class pets.”
“Your whole school will be wearing the Creeper Phatty’s and this campaign plays with that vision,” Rih said in a statement. “We chose these colors and material very purposefully for back-to-school. The black on black corduroy remind me of my very own childhood, a uniform approved shoe with the twist I always wish I had.”
The FENTY x PUMA “In Session” collection is now available to shop online and in PUMA’s stores, with prices ranging from $65 USD to $120 USD. Like previous drops, both designs are available in sizes for all ages. Take a look at the range in the gallery above.
