Salehe Bembury has been dominating the sneaker world for the last few years. The former Yeezy and Versace designer has become a hired gun for brands to work with, delivering his take on their signature styles as well as dreaming up new product.
Salehe Bembury is one of the most prolific collaborators in sneakers right now. The footwear designer got his start at Payless, before moving on to Cole Haan during its Nike era, before diving into world of sneakers with Yeezy in 2015. After taking on a position as head of sneaker design at Versace, Bembury started his championship run of collaborations under his own name in 2020 with New Balance and the 2002R.
Since 2020, Bembury has released a massive amount of projects, teaming up with a wide variety of brands. He has continued to work with New Balance regularly, but has now designed several signature silhouettes with Crocs, Anta, Vans, Moncler, and Clarks. Many of these projects have released via his own brand, Spunge, and are coming back for an exclusive Black Friday restock next week.
None of the sneakers that will be available have been announced as of this writing, but the art he shared depicts several shoes from New Balance, Crocs, Moncler, Clarks, and Vans. Stock will likely be very limited, and for now you can head over to his announcement post on Instagram to enter to win some free gear.
The Salehe Bembury Black Friday sale will likely go down on his website, Be a Spunge, on November 29th, 2024. He has stated a small stock of every release from him will be available, and hinted at the possibility of some special pricing, though retail prices still sound pretty great to us.
