The NBA season has come to an end, now the real season begins. Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are looking to repeat as NBA Champions, if they manage to accomplish that grand feat, Curry will be doing it while wearing the Under Armour Curry 2.5. Considered an extension of his current signature shoe, let’s take an official look at Curry’s playoff kicks.
The shoe is said to connect with Curry’s team since it has a design that’s inspired by the spearheads of ancient warriors. The shoe is also equipped with molded details said to be inspired by the lights of the Bay Bridge in California. Adding more of a “Warriors” feel to the shoe are the actual coordinates of the Warriors’ Oracle Arena placed on the heel. The Under Armour Curry 2.5 will launch first via Foot Locker and Under Armour on May 28, with a global release to follow on July 1 for the retail price of $135. Is this better than the Curry 2? Author’s Take
Doesn’t look bad at all. If I were to be completely honest, I think I prefer this pair over the Curry 2s. I like the height/design of the collar better, and the branding placement make the shoe look much more sleeker.
