Nowadays, Jordan Brand is selective in its releases featuring the original Air Jordan 1 High. To make up for this, its low and mid-top forms and various spin-off iterations of the shoe are constantly hitting the market in new looks. One such variant of the shoe that has shined bright since its introduction last year is the technology-packed Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2.
Now that Nike has revealed Teyana Taylor’s much-anticipated collaboration on the new silhouette, a familiar “Light Iron Ore” has covered the shoe. The monochromatic makeover toggles between white, gray and black with various details emphasized courtesy of the palette’s contrast. Its base favors black while the suede overlays appear in “Light Iron Ore” and the cut-out Swooshes and collar take on a white finish. Supporting the sneaker, an off-white stitched midsole combines with a gray rubber outsole.
Nike has yet to announce any release details for the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 “Light Iron Ore.” It’s currently expected to hit shelves as part of Jordan Brand’s fall offerings at a price of $150 USD via Nike and select retailers.
Stay tuned for official launch information and for more of the latest news in footwear, the Swoosh has officially revealed the Air Jordan 5 Low “Dongdan” ahead of its release later this year.
