BUNNEY is a London-based jewelry lifestyle brand that was created back in 2009. They are dedicated to quality craftsmanship with every product they create. They now take their talents and blend them with Converse to collaborate on some of its most refined footwear to date.

The collaboration will consists of the Converse Jack Purcell and the Converse Jack Purcell Slip-On. To really make both models stand out, BUNNEY got together with Linton Tweeds (a mill made famous by supplying Parisian couture houses as far back as the 1920s), to create a luxe cloth fabric for the shoes. Both pairs are covered in Petersham grosgrain ribbons and subtle textures. Adding more of a luxe look to the shoe is the premium pink kid leather lining, resulting in a nice sophisticated touch. If you take a look at the left heel, you will find the BUNNEY logo as a nod to the folklore on the lucky rabbit. Additional features on the shoe include Nike Zoom Air technology and OrthoLite footbeds. Set to release tomorrow, both models of the BUNNEY x Converse Jack Purcell collaboration will retail for $150. Cop or drop?

Author’s Take

The material used on the uppers is pretty sweet. I don’t own any shoes rocking the texture, but I’d be more than happy to pick up a pair.
