Hender Scheme is back on the scene and this time around they’re proud to introduce their readily available Post Modern Collection. Not familiar with Hender Scheme? They’re a Japanese label that specializes in premium crafted footwear and leather goods. One of their most know designs/creations consist of inspired sneakers done in contemporary style using exceptional materials and craftsmanship. If you’ve ever wondered what a premium-crafted sneaker looks like, Hender Scheme has them. The Post Modern collection will include their very own renditions of the Nike Air Force 1, Nike Air Presto and the Air Jordan 4.
All three pairs are handmade and obviously share the same blueprint/structure as their inspiration. The only thing missing is the actual Nike/Air Jordan branding. Instead of the shOes being made out of things such as mesh and synthetic materials, Hender Scheme flips the script an uses premium, vegetable-tanned leather construction that ends up giving the shoe it’s unique and premium aesthetic. When it comes to the soles, the materials we’re used to seeing are replaced by stacked leather. Other notable details on the shoe include the natural hand-cobbled cowhide leather laces and the hand-stamped logo on the insole. Considered a smart-casual alternative to sneakers, let us know if you’re a of this concept. Available now, is this a cop or drop?
The shoes look amazing, but I’m sure I wouldn’t last more than 30 minutes with them on my feet.
