After a five year hiatus of not being sold to the market, the iconic Nike Lunar Flow is set to make a comeback this season with slight material variations compared to its predecessor.
Showcased in black/white, green/red, and a blue/white version, which takes cues from the silhouette’s original neoprene release back in 1988, these revamped pairs incorporate a slightly wider mesh underlay to enhance more ventilation and breathability across the upper. The rest of the panelling is constructed with thin Hyperfuse strips to keep the profile intact, as it all rests atop a comfortable and crisp Lunarlon midsole unit.
Other notable details matching laces, the recognizable Swooshes across its side panels and more distinctive branding across the rear section, heel unit and tongue tab.
You can expect to find all three colorways at select Nike accounts overseas first starting this Friday, May 20th. Stay tuned for its arrival stateside, which should be very soon.

Author’s Take
I haven’t been aware about this silhouette until now. At least the name, but I do remember the profile. I’ve shared before that I’m a die-hard fan of runners and it’s nice to see this style revived. The upcoming colorways are solid too.
