Additional imagery of the forthcoming Slam Jam x Asics Gel Lyte 3 6th PRLL is featured, as the model is simply a sequel of their successful 5th Dimension collaboration which debuted back in 2010.

Essentially a darker rendition compared to the previous pair, which inverts the negative of the previous 5th Dimension silhouette into a more subdued variation, the low-top sneaker features a tri-toned suede construction, which features shades of dark grey, teal and orange, followed by mesh accents on the toe box, collar and sockliner.

Further detailed with a durable sole unit treated in a gradient finish, light grey-colored leather formstripes on the side panels round out the design.

You can purchase a pair at select Asics retailers overseas first on Saturday, May 21st, while a stateside release is expected very soon.

I’m a fan of the silhouette but I don’t like the overall execution on this pair. Minus the blue accents, I think it would look a lot better.
