The Supreme x Vans Skate Grosso Mid Finally Releases This Weekend

Colorways: Off-White, Black, and Red
SKUs: TBC
MSRP: TBC
Release Date: April 26
Where to Buy: Supreme Japan

Nate Lowman is a longtime collaborator of Supreme’s, having once worked with the brand on its Shibuya store opening in 2012 — bringing his bullet-hole motif to the store design and special box logo tee. The American artist went on to assemble a collaborative capsule featuring the bullet-hole design across Supreme apparel just under 10 years later. A project with Vans featuring the Skate Grosso Mid covered in his bullet-hole artwork was then set to take place that summer, however, it ended up delayed indefinitely. Since then Lowman offered Supreme another use of his bullet-hole art, bringing it to their new Shanghai flagship last year.

Now, in celebration of Lowman’s first solo exhibition in Japan, This Neighborhood’s Changed, opening this weekend, Supreme has prepared the trio’s three Skate Grosso Mids to finally see a retail release. Jeff Grosso’s signature model dons premium suede and canvas, hosting Lowman’s bullet-holes throughout the shoe’s upper. The original colorways of off-white, black, and red are all set to be dropping and feature co-branding at the heel tab, as well as the woven tongue tag.

Supreme’s long-postponed release of its Vans Skate Grosso Mid featuring artwork from Nate Lowman is set to take place on Saturday, April 26. It will be available at Supreme flagship stores in Japan — located in Shibuya, Osaka, Harajuku, Fukuoka, Daikanyama, and Nagoya — as well as the Supreme Japan online store.
