The Vans Era and the Vans Old Skool walk into a bar…
Two of Vans‘ signature silhouettes are linking up – literally. The aforementioned silhouettes come together in the footwear imprint’s new collaboration with BEAMS’ BEAMS SSZ line entitled the Vans x BEAMS SSZ Era Skool.
The sneaker combines the design of both iconic models, envisioning a hybrid silhouette dipped in a navy hue and accented with white detailing. On the lateral side of the silhouette, the sneaker resembles a classic Vans Era, with white stitching and a signature Vans tag. As for the medial side, this is where the Old Skool comes in, boasting the Old Skool’s signature side striping.
Sitting atop a white midsole, the laces, too, land in white but also come in an alternate navy blue colorway. Co-branded hits appear on the back of the heel, on the tongue, and also on the insole.
Only available in Japan, the joints drop exclusively at BEAMS’ Harajuku store on November 22 ahead of a wider release slated for the next day. Stay tuned for more info surrounding a global release.
