Australian retailer Up There has been on a hot streak with New Balance for the past few years. Hot on the heels of their recent 860v2 release, the two have drafted a second colorway in pink & blue, reportedly dropping this holiday season.
Up There’s collaborative relationship with New Balance began back in 2022, with their back-to-back releases of the “Backyard Legends” 2002r series. They followed this up in 2023 with a simple grey rendition of the 1906R, before returning to a more colorful design this season with the neon-colored pair of the 860v2 runner. Now, the two appear to be revisiting the silhouette for a second style this holiday season.
The last release of the Up There 860v2 is still fresh in our minds and on our feet, having just released in October. Already, a leak of the follow-up has emerged online from frequent NB leaker dane3fune, showing off a more toned-down version of the shoe. This pair features a soft pink mesh for the base layer, with accents in a metallic blue synthetic overlay. Hints of white help balance out the look, while neon green tongue branding nods to the previous release.
