Vetements continues to borrow from the workwear world for one its latest takes on everyday attire, this time choosing to adopt the standard construction boot in order to offer a luxe rendition. The brand has recently released a pair of lug-soled boots as a sturdy choice for the season, opting to differentiate the kicks through subtle branding and a lofty price tag.
Sharing an uncanny resemblance to Timberland’s Original Yellow Boot, the shoes are crafted in suede and featured in a tan colorway that recall Timberland’s signature golden hue. Vetements then gives the boots a subtle update with contrasting white laces, while a branded pull tab calls out the logo. They’re finished off with a black leather cuff detail to add a touch of padding to the rugged style.
Vetements Lace-Up Suede Boots are priced at $1,280 USD, and available now at MatchesFashion’s webstore.
